It's been a pleasure debating with you, despite starting from a point of weakness I was fully aware of. I wasn't sure if Bluesky yet had knowledgeable members. Onward.

After reviewing your fact-checking article, my assessment is further solidified; the agency's financial situation is precarious. This federally funded entity, reliant on taxpayer dollars, has substantial outstanding loans and demonstrably lacks the revenue to sustain itself.

Again, I agree. Can't blame a guy for dreaming about Dobson, though.

Great way to get public support in an already negative public view on these union blind workers .

Oh my , tell her to go out to the private sector and get a job . Go away .

I have no sympathy for them. The substantial yearly loss of taxpayer funds, coupled with the poor timing of this incident, is unacceptable.

Furthermore, I commend your insightful observation regarding the non-fantasy nature of this scenario. The Canucks' defensive deficiencies and the Islanders' offensive shortcomings present a notable imbalance. While a trade may not be imminent, the possibility remains a strong consideration.

Yeah, Dobson is soon to be 25 as well. The Islanders won't get a 40-goal scorer for peanuts. But I do agree Dobson would take a lot, but keeping in mind Lamoriello is going into year 7 as GM, and unless he balances out this team, he won't be around. It would take an add-on for sure, like Lekkerimacki

The Islanders' offensive production is lagging, despite a robust defensive system. Numerous Long Island reports indicate the team is exploring strategic changes to bolster scoring, potentially through the acquisition of a 40-goal scorer. Perhaps the Canucks would need to sweeten the pot.
