What a nice tribute! I had to quit knitting because of the fibromyalgia. So I started crocheting & got the equivalent of tennis elbow. So then I sewed art. Now I fill out job applications & study.
But I tell them I’m not available until after Memorial Day—I’m NOT giving up our trip!

My folks bought the Encyclopedia Britanica about 1955. That’s what I read for fun. Over and over. I wanted to become a doctor (because my dad died when I was 12), got no support but was told that wasn’t for girls.
