Some are more serious in nature, but others are full of references and little jokes. I invite you all to search on all your cards and the full arts from the artists on the Little troubles team. There is a lot of love involved in every piece.

I believe backgrounds should be descriptive and/or tell a story. A lot of times we think about them like an afterthought, but BGs add a lot of information about the general narrative of a story and/or extra details about the characters in the scene. What does your desk says about you?
