Hi, I'm Not_a_Movie_Star. This is my car spotting account, here I will be posting pictures and some interesting bits of information about cars I've spotted.
Follow to see and know more about all sorts of cars.
All pictures are mine unless stated otherwise
A lot of bodywork was redesigned for performance purposes when creating a successor to 997.1. Along with that the car became more technologically advanced, gaining dynamic engine mounts among other things. Today getting one of these in Europe will set you back around 100.000 - 150.000€.

Besides regular sedan and two coupe versions that Fulvia was offered in, three 1.6 HF cars were converted into barchettas in 1969 for Targa Florio and other races. Later in the 80s, for motorsports purposes this model was replaced with Stratos HF, pictures of which I also have.

Volante version was only sold with 4.0L twin-turbo V8, while standard versions also had 5.2L V12. Just from a quick look you could tell them apart by the amount of vents on the hood; V8 versions have 2, while V12s have four.

This one I got to see is a coupe with RR layout, powered by an air-cooler flat 6 engine. Yes, the engine is in the back... That said, I'm glad something like this was born even though it didn't last.

One of its design features I appreciate the most is the tail lights. Along with other exterior lightning and turn indicators they are powered by neon tubes. Every car was also sold and shipped with detachable hardtop. Every non-Alpina version came with a manual transmission and a 4.9L V8.

If you want a better idea of when Chiron was born, you should look up 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Concept car was shown there and it just happened to look a lot like Chiron we know. Here is a picture of Chiron's naked chassis, which in some regards is similar to Veyron's.

In total, although not at the same time, 9 cars were built after a change in rules of World Sportscar Championship. New regulations required an entirely new engine for which an entirely new chassis was also necessary. This car here is number 38, it finished in P8 in 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans.

I get it, seemed weird to me as well when it came out. Eventually grew on me a little bit, definitely has some charm to it, especially when you see it irl

This car shares a lot of parts with previously unvealed Lamborghini Sián. Only 112 units were built in total so this was quite a find for me.

It's true, but at least market prices on those aren't that crazy

The car could be purchased with either a softtop roof or a detachable hardtop. The car was fitted with a 1.9L inline-4 engine, but prototypes with inline-6 engines also existed.
