AMAB folks can be non-binary.
Non-binary folks don't owe anyone androgyny.
When we open up spaces for non-binary folks, that means ALL non-binary folks.

In any case thanks to all the great writers and thanks again @annaleen.bsky.social for the articles that you wrote years ago that kept me in good reading for a long time (and a long time to come given all their works).

Seeing your own books here now I'll have to pick up some of yours too! 😃

One speculative book series (I didn't happen to come across from an @annaleen.bsky.social's article but rather a friend, thanks @ehjc.bsky.social) that has been made into a TV series is @marthawells.com's Murderbot series and I'm looking forward to the adaption.

And prior to that I read @annleckie.com's Imperial Radch trilogy. As written about in this article (almost 10 years ago! how?!). Sorry to hear the adaptation of this also seems to have stalled.

From this article, as mentioned I just finished Butler's trilogy as well as @nnedi.bsky.social's Who Fears Death as well as @nkjemisin.bsky.social's Broken Earth trilogy, both great books too.

(Sadly I've not heard more of the TV adaptations? 😢)
