Steve is one of the most prime examples of wrong and strong in the BC space. and yet news companies keep having him on as an "expert" in the RE space.

" Gen-AI is not only unhelpful, it's a nuisance."

This applies to a wholeeee lot of different areas in tech too. MBA-brained CEOs and managers are shoving it down employees' throats to appeal to shareholders or their own false sense of knowledge.

It’s a good book. Just started reading a copy from the library as well.

I’ve found a lot of normal people don’t like evil, bad things so yeah generally the tide is against the bad thing.

Walking into open houses during the weekends is cathartic. Absolutely zero interest outside of nosey neighbors

You don’t even need to do this anymore, Amazon openly allows sending epubs itself which was a wild recent change
April 12, 2025 at 4:41 AM
You can use the ‘send to’ website from Amazon too, it’ll convert stuff now including epubs. Alternative I just discovered that djazz website also works on kindle (linked in another reply, don’t want to seem spammy)
April 12, 2025 at 4:40 AM
Whoops I screwed the URL up. It’s send.djazz.se
Send to Kobo/Kindle
send.djazz.se
April 12, 2025 at 4:39 AM
I don’t know if it’s still this way but to get the Kobo browser I had to go into ‘beta features’. I’ve never used the browser for anything else but it’s comically easy to send epubs or other files over and it even corrects the formatting on janky epubs
April 12, 2025 at 4:38 AM
Are you using Kobo or Kindle? If Kindle - you can use the Amazon upload site. If Kobo (better) I go to use send.jazz.se - open this from both computer and in the Kobo browser. It works in any format I’ve tried and takes no time at all, all done over WiFi, no need to be on the same network
send.jazz.se

X1C is wild overkill. A1 slaps and if you want something bigger, P1C is 99% as good as X1C at way less money

Yeah good call. Unfortunately 338 projections for individual seats are horribly unreliable but 🤞

Lmao didn’t even have to scroll down to guess who the dweeb was
April 10, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Same. It sure was fun to tell people that I walk through that area at least once a week and haven’t felt in danger or at risk - of course many didn’t believe it. What an absolutely awful piece of trash that video was, and it was funded and promoted by literal demon Chip Wilson.
