I read Mary after I've read Lolita. I don't regret reading it, the style and the characters drew me in. Ididn't leave a lasting impression on me, it felt quite common to 1920s post WW1 European literature.

I'm very slow adopting social platforms but here I am. Oh enjoy the holidays, 2024 was a trying year... I'm now reading your review of Antal Szerb's Oliver VII
