I am of the generation where our parents, uncles and aunts all were affected by polio. The repercussions from polio were from the mild loss of the use of an arm to full contortion.

Anti-vaxxers decisions maim and kill their children.

Fearless little guys. I was filling the bird feeder and this red breasted nuthatch would not move . . .until the feeder was full.

A local grocery store was running a 10 for $10 special on canned goods, Mac & Cheese, ramen and tuna. We stocked up a for a local food bank.

The irony of this is we are paying taxes to support low income workers and doubling down with food assistance.

Just ran a mortgage calculation on a 50 year loan of $300k @ 6%. It yields a total payment of $945k.

It’s a Stihl vs Husqvarna world. However, when you need a real saw, gas is still the only way to go.

Oh yes, and I’m a proud lab dad.

I’m an Oregonian and thrilled with the verdict.

Easy on the permanent stuff. The judge is only granting for this case and does not rule that the guard cannot be called up if the situation changes.

There is a surprise around every corner of the Oregon coast.

Oregon should be set as the gold standard of mail in voting. For those who choose, you receive a text when your ballot is sent and another when it is received.

Vote by mail is cost efficient, effective and works.

This is Hillsboro Oregon. My home town where my friends, who are US Citizens, are afraid of being swept away.

ICE is ruining lives and communities, ICE is not protecting anyone.

Our county was voting on bond measures for the sheriff and library.

Oregon is pushing nearly 30 years of vote by mail and it is fantastic.

I would like to know how many of the arrests were initiated by ICE against bystanders.

You are on a roll today. Don’t forget this Big Beautiful Beef deal also upsets the cost of beef in Argentina.

Speaking from experience as a midsized importer/retailer, no one is able to absorb the cost of the tariffs. There are only two choices, pass the tariffs on to the end consumer or go bankrupt quickly.

We got to go to the beach. After 3 days of constant rain, a strange object was in the sky.

Just taken this morning from the South Waterfront Blocks about 1/4 mile from the ICE detention Center.

Portland is just fine.

Cease fires to Israel are just excuses to continue the same peace rhetoric without actual peace.

It takes 3 generations of peace to obtain a lasting peace. You cannot change a mindset overnight.
Israel still fires on Lebanon almost a year after a ceasefire. Some predict the same for Gaza
Israel continues to launch near-daily strikes in neighboring Lebanon. That's despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire in the latest Israel-Hezbollah war nearly a year ago.

Peace does not just happen overnight in a region where the cruelty of war has been a way of life for generations.

NON Violent protest met with uncalled for violence.
Just arrived on the scene at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in South Portland. Here less than 10 minutes when agents charged out of the facility and used a pale yellow gas that caused tears and coughing in crowd members. Also shot munitions at those retreating.

Tariff Refunds: Even in defeat there are companies looking to profit from the chaos. Ludnick’s son who heads Cantor Fitzgerald, is purchasing the potential refunds at a discounted rate.

From experience, none of the tariff rebates will go back to the consumer.

Federal Agents prosecuted under state laws are not eligible for federal pardons. There is no wiggle room, violence against protesters is inexcusable.
