I post this NO-BAKE OREO LAYERED PUDDING DESSERT recipe every year. I think it's the most awesomest holiday dessert out there. Way more enjoyable than pie! 😋 #HolidayRecipes
NO-BAKE OREO LAYERED PUDDING DESSERT 1 15.25-ounce pkg. Oreo Lemon Creme Cookies 3 Tbsp. Butter, softened 1 3.4-ounce box Jello Lemon Instant Pudding Mix 1 cup Milk 2 cups Cool Whip Frozen Whipped Topping, thawed (Approx. 2/3 of an 8-ounce tub) 1 8-ounce can Crushed Pineapple, well drained 1. Place half of the cookies in a large bowl and coarsely crush with a large spoon. Add butter and mix until butter is incorporated with crushed cookies. Press into the bottom of a 7"x 9" baking dish (if you don't have one, a 9-inch square dish will work). 2. Combine pudding mix and milk in a bowl, whisk until smooth (I use a whisk attachment on an electric mixer for approx. 2 minutes) and let stand for 2 minutes until soft set. Fold in the whipped topping. Divide in half. Spread half the pudding mixture over the cookie mixture in the pan. 3. Coarsely crush the remaining cookies in a large bowl. Sprinkle half of the crushed cookies over the pudding mixture. 4. Mix crushed pineapple with remaining pudding mixture. Spread over crushed cookie layer. Sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies. Cover dish with lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving. MAKES APPROX. 6-8 SERVINGS. You can experiment with various combinations of pudding flavor, cookie flavor, and fruit to come up with many different possibilities. Enjoy!

These are the same people who 50 weeks a year won’t spend a minute helping their grandparents or aunts/uncles with any of daily activities. They travel so they can be in the FaceBook pictures and wills. And when they get there sit and watch football all day.

There's a reason why you don't see 65-yr-old players in the NFL. They're simply not up to the task. The same goes for members of Congress. The old guard is no longer up to the task that confronts us. It's time for them to go!
The party hierarchy throws a fit whenever anyone so much as suggests they're going to primary an incumbent. That's why Congress looks like a retirement home.

The gothic sculptured Main Entrance, Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York. The main entrance to the cemetery is a double-gate composed of Belleville, New Jersey brownstone. It is overlaid with sculptured groups on Nova Scotia limestone panels depicting biblical scenes of death and resurrection from the New Testament including Lazarus, The Widow's Son, and Jesus' Resurrection over the gateways are the work of sculptor John M. Moffitt. In between the two gateways is a clock tower in the Flamboyant style. The tower measures 106 feet (32 m) tall. A cemetery office is to one side of the gate, while the chapel and reception room are on the opposite side. Outside view of a federal prison. In the foreground is a guard tower next to a sally-port entrance and in line with a 12-foot-tall perimeter fence augmented with rows of razor wire. In the background is another guard tower and buildings where prisoners are housed.

During these trying times, nothing helps keep you centered and balanced better than comfort food. And one of my favorites is cherry cobbler. Here's a super easy recipe that I use to make a perfect cobbler that even grandma would be proud of. Don't forget the scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy! 😋
PERFECT EASY FRUIT COBBLER 1 stick of butter or margarine 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1-1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 2/3 cup milk 1 21-ounce can fruit pie filling 8x8 baking dish Preheat oven 375 degrees. Melt butter, pour in baking dish. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and mix together. Batter may be a little lumpy. Spread evenly in bottom of baking dish. Pour pie filling over batter and spread to even out. If some batter and filling mix together, that's okay. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45-50 minutes or until top crust is golden brown. EASY SUGAR GLAZE (Optional) 1/2 cup white powdered sugar 1 tbsp. milk In medium bowl, blend powered sugar and milk together until well-blended and dissolved. Drizzle glaze over the top of cobbler after it has cooled about 20 minutes. ENJOY! A fully baked apple cobbler with a golden brown crust and topped with a sugar glaze in a square glass baking dish.
