as someone who knows they'd have experienced dysphoria though, i'm glad it's changing in a real life context

it's because i decided on an L-name theme (lili, lana, leandra, lysandros, a sibling who died, etc.)

keep getting shocked by a random name i picked for a villain in the protector and the annihilation because i changed it to lysandros during an era i wasn't reading TPATA and now i never forget it

the short of it is, part 1 introduces the world (which has spectral eyes, elemental powers, cultural systems therein, shut-in planets, thousands of years of drama and sad shit, etc. etc.)

then part 2 you get used to the world.

nearing the end of part 1~! part 2 is a little shorter and has certain plot beats that hasten the read, so i'm hoping i can say "i'm done!!!" definitively within the next two weeks. will go a little cuckoo the day that happens
