they are patiently waiting for the right moment

There are some essayists who I think can give a compelling thesis and make really informative and well thought out points, but unfortunately a vast majority of essayists I find do not have anything interesting to say and just describe a thing with zero exigence. Annoys me a fair bit.

"lol" definitely feels less full on genuine in tone. haha is softer in tone and feels more passive to me. so like "are you italian haha?" is like "im actually curious but dont wanna sound accusatory." vs "are you italian lol?" is more "im curious but the fact that im asking you is funny to me."

it is novel posting and having people besides my very close friends see it. nice to meet you as well!
