And do not get me wrong, I really want to get back into Arc Raiders, I want to play Dispatch, I want to finish Expedition 33 (yeah yeah I know). But I just can't bring msyelf to do anything.

I'm hoping it's the first two. Because some of these jobs, dream jobs to me, should immediately be scooping up artists left and right with so much more skill and experience.

And that brings it big scary question "how many artists did we lose from the games industry?"

I was chatting up an env artist who liked my portfolio and they mentioned they would love to hire on more help, but the powers that be aren't spending any money. It feels like the powers that be are putting all the chips on AI or holding off to see what happens.
