Albertans say the UCP govt is disconnected from their priorities. They want them to deliver well funded classrooms, bring more doctors and shorten waiting times while focusing on creating jobs - and to quit the distractions of cultural wars and ridiculous citizenship driving licenses #yycglenmore

It was my honour to join veterans and community members at the 137 Battalion Memorial in North Glenmore Park #yycglenmore.
Remembrance Day is not just about the past. It’s a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the values and freedoms that so many gave their lives for.

We had a great time at the Calgary-Glenmore AGM last weekend. We elected new executive, we ran an election preparedness workshop, and we raised money for #yycglenmore
I can’t wait to door knock again with volunteers and work with the new execs.

1/3 In the wee hours of the morning, the UCP government passed its legislation to force teachers back to work. They even used the notwithstanding clause, admitting their violation of charter rights and freedoms.

1/ More than 900 Albertans will lose their jobs, and Alberta’s Premier is simply “disappointed” with thoughts and prayers for good severance packages?
Premier, that’s 900 families impacted once these workers receive the pink slip. Alberta has one of the worst unemployment rates in the country.
