I lost an old friend today to cancer. She held on for Christmas and her daughter’s birthday (12/26). She was admitted in to hospice early this morning and passed this afternoon. I know she’s at peace and out of pain, but damn this sucks.

We got our Covid and flu vaccines yesterday and they are kicking our butts. Fever, chills, pain, headache. It feels like mostly from the flu vaccine, but it’s no fun.
