Gathering and mixers are very cool, I was able to meet a lot of cool Godot people, the SpielFabrique team, and attended a WIG gathering! On top of that the gamescom extends in local bars where you could meet a lot of nice people to have a drink with and even have a chance to pitch Silver Lining 😮

I also went to a meeting outside the convention center to check out some magical 3D screens with Samsung peeps🪄 But this trip took me way too long with a very uncooperative transportation system so next time I'm at gamescom I'll avoid those kind of trips 😬

The indie arena in the morning is the best thing for an indie, you get to meet the small publishers and the indie teams before the big waves of people so they have time to talk, that's how I discovered Joystick Ventures, talked a bit with someone from Playstack, earned an AMAZE cap and way more🔥
