Michelle Garza Cervera does what she can to add style to the substance-free reimagining of THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE. Mary Elizabeth Winstead facing down Maika Monroe should have more sizzle.

Entrancing episode. Almost makes me want to watch and wonder at the misshapen beast.

Favourite line: You can see why he was cast as Gilderoy Lockhart.

A harrowing work of art, but one that inspires empathy on a level beyond watching the young men and the country suffer. The Long Walk is bound for immediate status as a classic of the dystopian genre.

My review of THE LONG WALK for @awfjorg.bsky.social

Tina Romero is epic fun. So is her film QUEENS OF THE DEAD. Here is a photo of Katy O’Brian and Jack Haven as Dre and Kelsey.

My nervous friend… people are far too invested in their own opinions that they’ll really not be concerned with yours. (Presuming sanity).

Have a funny picture of a cake.

I haven’t played the game and I’m not sure I’d do that to myself. I’m afraid of this escalator in Melbourne.

Reviewed out of @fantasiafestival.com is Becca Kozak’s SUGAR ROT. Which tries so very hard to provoke disgust or to provoke in general. But the provocation falls flat because it’s so profoundly meaningless.

I think that’s fairly normal. I know I’m abnormal (this is a slow year for me).

As an Australian I have the right to take the piss out of the Negus. Especially when we had Jana.

Out of Montreal’s Fantasia Festival I review Julie Pacino’s grotesquely gorgeous horror I LIVE HERE NOW for @awfjorg.bsky.social
