I headed to Seabeck WA to watch one of nature’s seasonal spectacles — Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons feasting on Plainfin Midshipman fish as they swarm the oyster beds to spawn.
In this photo series, an eagle swoops in, snatches its catch, and finds the perfect place to enjoy its meal.

Multnomah Falls are always amazing but I think the ice really adds to it. The 2nd photo is taken from the bridge looking down on the northside.

Horsetail Falls along the Historic Columbia River Hwy was spectacular with all the ice.

Latourell Falls along the Historic Columbia River Hwy. The first photo the wind was blowing in the canyon that the fall is tucked back in. Second photo was the wind let up a second and then we have the ice that was gathered at the top of the falls.

Vista House at Crown Point. What a great view but the wind was rocking my Rav4. Holding onto the car door so it would not get bent the wrong way, I got out of my car. But when I got to the back of the car, I almost was knocked down. Was time to get back in the SUV and work my way down the road.

Along the Historic Columbia River Hwy is the Portland Women's Forum State Scenic Viewpoint. Oh what a view, but was surprised at how windy it was!

Columbia Gorge adventure took me along Marine Dr. on the Oregon side of the Columbia where I stopped at Chinook Landing Marine Park. Loved the little frozen creek winding along. The next stop was at the Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site. Went down to the boat launch on the Sandy River.

After much rain and then snow and cold, February 12th looked like it was going to be a nice sunny day. Time for a Mental Health Day and take a drive. Heading south as the sun was arriving for the day, there was Mount St. Helens. Pulled off the freeway at the Winlock exit to get this shot.

While I was at Juanita Bay Park checking out the wildlife action, the geese started to have a bit of a squabble.
