Singer-songwriter 🎵 Views my own 💭
🚨 Very much soft launching that I’m working on my first album🥰

I adore songwriting, composing, and performing - but detest mixing, so if anyone has any advice I’d much appreciate it, it’s very much a DIY album 🙈

Hoping to have my first single out by January, watch this space!

Post soon to follow

Some nights I find it impossible to write and feel creatively blocked

Other nights, I can’t stop writing

And this short horror story is now evolving into a book (that my mom, who has read my stories since I was 6, is reading faster than I can write it)

“Don’t tell me what happens!” she says

…????

2/2 There’s Beverly & the Losers in the sewers in 1958 scene… a bold or ill-advised creative choice to say the least depending on who you ask

But the creepiest moment out of the whole book for me though was being in the mind of psychopath Hockstetter when he killed his baby brother

Harrowing stuff

Remember when UKIP were polling at around 20%? They’re now a political irrelevance

It’s not unusual to see fringe parties poll extremely well in the middle of a political term in the UK

I find it weird this isn’t spoken about more in SW1

And it’s why I think the Reform bubble will burst
November 4, 2025 at 4:18 PM
I predict Reform’s polling will collapse before the next election, the hard-right populism bubble will burst before then

And I think Farage knows it, hence he keeps talking up an early election, despite there being next to no chance of that happening

2029 is a long way away

Currently half way through reading IT and honestly this video has absolutely sent me - I’ve watched it too many times

10/10, cinema - never beating the allegations 🎈

Yep, still as creepy as I remember
November 1, 2025 at 11:41 PM
was gifted this age 14 by a friend and couldn’t get past the first 100 pages because it freaked me out too much

The book has since been lost in the ether, so I’m giving it a go on my Kindle

Will I bottle ‘IT’? Stay tuned…

I just made a donation to the Jamaica disaster relief effort, it was super easy - you can to, link here: supportjamaica.gov.jm

Parts of the island are completely destroyed, they need our help 🇯🇲

Really positive development: the airport in Kingston is functional and hasn’t been seriously damaged, this means that aid flights can get in unhindered 🇯🇲

A huge concern before Hurricane Melissa arrived was that airports would be nonfunctional so aid wouldn’t be able to get in

My cousin has lost his roof, thankfully still has phone signal - please keep Jamaica in your prayers #HurricaneMelissa

#HurricaneMelissa as she begins to make landfall in Jamaica

If you pray, please pray now 🙏🏽

Hurricane hasn’t hit yet but this is what my cousins garden looks like already up in the hills

The flooding is going to be another level
October 28, 2025 at 12:34 PM
I’ve never watched a storm as closely as this because I’ve never had relatives facing a storm this deadly

As you can see the eye of this Cat 5 beast is not tracking what the NHC said would happen, #Melissa is drifting more west

She’s still forecast to turn north, the next few hours are crucial

The far-right are saying the quiet bit out loud

As someone who is both white and black, I feel comfortable calling this out for what it is

Because I’m pretty sure the likes of Arron Banks don’t include me in their “white” Britain because I have a bit too much pigment

This is racism

Gonna be honest here and say as a journalist working in Westminster this makes me want to cry

My grandparents had to deal with this crap and now we are, it’s so wrong

How are we here where politicians feel so emboldened to say things that are so obviously racist?

Powell haunts my family

When my grandparents arrived in the Windrush, and when my dad and his siblings grew up in Brum, he was one of the political faces of racism

Even now I see the impact the mere mention of Powell has on them

Sickens & enrages me to see British media try to rehabilitate him

“And now I’m hyperactive because the eggs tasted so good”
October 23, 2025 at 10:53 AM
“I drank some milk from my mom’s cornflakes this morning that had xylitol in it, which is toxic for dogs, and now the vet has said I need a diet of scrambled eggs for the rest of the day - it’s a hard life”

By the way, this is how antisemitism looks like when people are trying to hide it as anti-Israel

From a monetised account on Twitter & has over 70k engagements

I always regret checking that hellscape, because these are the posts I get suggested - but I have to check it b/c SW1 is still there

I finished watching The Curse today

I love Nathan Fielder

Did I mention I love Nathan Fielder?

I am convinced people have been told to experiment with architecture in Birmingham because here’s another spaceship looking mf: New Street station (which is almost as bad to navigate as the ICC. Almost)
October 18, 2025 at 8:56 PM
This unholy construction

(Although I did see a great performance of the Snow Man there as a kid with my late nan, fond memories but terrible architecture)
