I had a rich GC region I was trying to amplify. Q5 and Phusion failed repeatedly. OneTaq FTW! 🥳🧬
A clear gel illuminated by UV light so it is a purple-pink color with bright pink-orange single bands of DNA and standard visible.

Found the cutest contaminant today! The agar was LB so the pink is from whatever this microorganism is secreting #microbiology #contaminant
