Nanos' comment doesn't make sense. If his polls are stationary, the logical conclusion would be that Poilievre is the one with the right approach. Yet Nanos doesn't say this.

Because finance is the most important portfolio. Any other file is a demotion, which is why she had no choice but to resign in order to save her political career. Trudeau essentially asked Freeland to self-immolate for him. He should have known better and I'm stunned by the stupidity of his move.

Not after what happened yesterday. And let's be clear, that fatal blow that JT received was self-inflicted. He had a shot at redemption after Mar-a-Lago but he ruined it by trying to sack Freeland in the most humiliating way. It's over.
