Executive Director of a North American Cross Stitching organization, but also a big fan of many other arts. Joined Bsky to find an alternative to the other, most popular service. Love the chatter here.
1 - he is wrong about CK. Jesus would have reubuked him over and over. 2 - Nehis is running scared because he is reading the tea leaves.

I worked 4 - 10s for years and loved it. The quiet time during the evening allows for extra focus on issues and on research. Having Friday through Sunday off was wonderful!

As a cross stitcher that has done many a black on black stitch, I can say, I feel your pain! Looks like you are doing super fine on it though!

Definitely a cross stitcher, but not sure where you can find the last 1" of that pattern. I know some web sites have some collections of pattern magazines available, but not sure this is one included in those collections. Best of luck and happy stitching!

Thanks Lea - didn't know about that feed and am now following it too! Again thanks for making me aware!

Good for you - Doing frogging on perforated paper is even more difficult than it is on Aida cloth. I celebrate your success with you!

You know, those of us that cross stitch all have boo boos that we lovingly call frogging to get rid of the mistake. For example, "I had to frog 25 stitches because I miscounted!" I learned this term on the cross stitch subreddit. IMO, it sort of fits the attitude you feel.

Hi Kate - love you are putting this out there! Cross stitching as an art can be thankless - we do it because we love to do it. You are quite right - gifting should be done with no expectation of the recipient - just like all gifts - it is the actual gifting that says it all.

Agreed - it somewhat is. But it is also its own distinct discipline. This is partly due to things like consistent stitch tension and the counting that happens for many cross stitchers. It is why I've taken the step to found the North American Cross Stitch Association. NACSA
