Doesn’t make sense. They just extended him. Unless he hid his discontent really well why would they extend him if he was not on board with the direction of the front office.

Multiple ways of evaluating this trade and all show Nico made a bad deal. Did Mavs do better than reaching the finals? No. Did Mavs get best deal possible? No. Did Mavs make the best business decision? No-massive losses predicted. Did they increase their chances of doing better in the future? No.

I really don’t want to be a fan of a team owned by this family so this is probably the only way for me to love a Dallas NBA team again. But it’s just a pipe dream.

With new ownership, new management, almost complete turnover in players, what relations does Dirk even have with this team? Finley? Kidd maybe? Who is left from the old regime? It’s the Mavs in name only which is why it’s becoming easier and easier to say goodbye

This just does not make sense. It can’t just be conditioning. You trade Luka when he’s 30 if you are worried about conditioning and just suffer thru his injuries in the meantime.
