So seriously have the cold start problem here. How do i find these incredible follow lists people talk about?

Is there an AI for that?

I have a friend in his 30s who has never seen any Star Wars.

I'm thinking of just Rogue One + Andor S1/2 which leads directly into New Hope.

Then stop.
That feels like such a gift.

Wesleyan should get more credit.

President went out in a limb first. Privately tried to get the other school to join together & they delayed. Plus he is pro-Israel, which makes it a hard principled stance.

A University President Makes a Case Against Cowardice

Is this LA or is this Gaza?

My sincere hope is for my family in LA and in Palestine to be safe, and have opportunity and dignity in their lives. As a wise person said recently, I want for you whatever you want for the Palestinians.

Really wish TV shows had a variable recap length. Seems AI possible.

Like it's another episode of Breaking Bad? I watched the one yesterday just give me 30 seconds.

It's a new season of Arcane & i'm trying to remember 12 characters and all their events after 2 years?

I'd like 45 mins please.

Today's a really good day to send some love to Gaza Soup Kitchen. Tough week for them.

Right now I have 5 different AI code editors open writing code on 3 projects. I'm just popping between them and responding. The context switching between projects is spinning plates, but it is fabulous.

More interesting is they are different AI coding tools that are better at different things.

This week Fraser and I had a healthy disagreement about whether AI products should do a better job "managing up" to teach users the full horizontal breadth of their awesomeness.

I get the DAU spike and desire to try and make Bluesky a thing.

But my lord does this product just seriously lack polish and joy. What's the thing you'd want fixed fastest?

Mine is the color scheme and iconography.

Does anyone else have the thing where you have TV shows you watch with different combinations of wife/kids/friends and you have a hard time keeping track of which shows you’ve been watching with whom?

Was talking w a founder trying to think of brand where the “hook” is different from product but it worked.

Best example i could do on short notice was VW.

In 1998 they reintroduce the Beatle. Iconic! Made VW a brand w soul, amazing ads follow. They sell a ton of Jettas, but not a lot of Beatles.

My son wants to watch Game of Thrones over the summer with me. (teenager it’s all good)

I’m dreading the last season, and much of the fourth. And I was thinking of the Star Wars Machete order.

Anyone come up with a way to watch GoT that preserves the best but cuts what sucks?

There is something to be said about being willing to learn, and attack things you are bad at with optimism to improve.

But. The real super power I’ve had to learn late is that in a relationship of any kind it is great to just be bad at some things and ok with that, and communicate that to others.
