I have to be skeptical of this new claim. Your reply to her comment was aggressive/malicious, unhelpful, and unnecessary. I pointed out that mistake, yet you dodge taking responsibility or course correction, and instead add a new (watered down) group slander. UU's are largely wonderful human beings.

1. It wasn't my statement, but it's a statement I wouldn't criticize
2. If you were trying to be fair, you wouldn't stretch to the suggestion that a general statement of support or affection must be absolutely and universally unassailable or else ought to face your public rebuke.

So let's be clear; you mean to paint as predatory and villainous a whole group of people whose central chosen identity is just to aspire to be inclusive, loving, and understanding. If that weren't your intention, you wouldn't have felt any compulsion to reply as you did, if even to reply here at all

Come on. There's no need for so many question marks. The statement is clear and sincere. There is an ever-present risk of echo-chamber and "cool-aid" divisory effects, and it's worthwhile to point them out.
