Devout trifold-N95-wearing supporter of clean air working with HVAC building automation. My masks filter out airborne viruses, pollutants, and assholes in my immediate vicinity. Слава Україні!

Folks need to stop associating outdoor air with fresh air. This is the new normal for Ontario with smoke in every direction. Parks across the province are full for the long weekend with not a single mask in sight. #DiscoverON

Lottery? No thanks. I get enough of a dopamine hit refreshing the Ontario Parks reservation portal. I had nothing booked at this time yesterday and I now have all three days covered for the long weekend #DiscoverON

I mask on trails because I never know who I might end up sharing the air with.

Saw a group of three in high quality respirators on Highway 400. Since my windows are tinted, I picked the perfect moment to get directly beside them to roll down the driver’s side and show off a beloved black CAN99. Masked joy ensued. Such a wholesome start to my weekend.

Had tons of fun crafting with other N95ers at a mask chain making workshop facilitated by @wildwoodgames.bsky.social at Aurora Public library today. #yorkregion

Happy Canada Day!

My elastomeric‘s makeover is a mixed success. The nice thing is that everything can easily be peeled off and redone since I used hot glue. Wore it to a “masks requested by artist” concert yesterday but walked out because there was ZERO ventilation/filtration in the space with barely anyone masking.

Open source medical care is the future as Western doctors become incapacitated with repeat virus infections as collateral damage in the ongoing pandemic disinformation warfare. We will have to adapt from trusting others to ourselves as social welfare systems continue to break down.

Today I had a mechanic warmly shake my hand while thanking me for being one of the coolest people he’s met after I finished replying to his comment that I look better without a mask. I love breaking barriers while advocating for good health!

Anyone who claims to be a #Novid should be getting regularly tested for N protein antibodies. Yes, you’re right that clean the air works but arrogance can get to all of us. Knowledge is still power.

My blood test from earlier this month came back positive for Covid’s Nucleocapsid protein antibodies. I test a lot and never tested positive. My fitness tracker logs also don’t point to any time period that could be attributed to a Covid infection and my vitals have been stable for years.

Coughing horses at the Caledon Fair. Are we really okay with this?

Since the start of Covid, I’ve been consistently upgrading my mitigations as time goes on. We need to spend more time fearing airborne hazards instead of the engineering marvels used to mitigate them.
Part of this means wearing an elastomeric more often so I gave my GVS Elipse P100 a makeover today.

I was planning to attend a mask mandatory play last weekend but Toronto traffic had other plans. The theatre let me rebook my ticket to this evening, albeit not mask mandatory. Wore my elastomeric for a sold-out night. Proper protection allowed me to truly enjoy this contemporary Canadian work.

Super happy to be a part of the Phase 2 AeroVax Trial for a next-gen made-in-Canada inhaled Covid vaccine at McMaster University. Had my vaccine administration visit today with 2/3 chance that I got the real thing.

At City Hall this morning to tell Toronto Public Health to do its job in communicating facts about airborne measles transmission.

Today is my five year anniversary from when I last flew on a plane and the end to one of the best months I’ve had since the start of the Covid pandemic. Turns out I really do love Toronto after all! ❤️
