I'm finding the hardest part is the routine. Just knowing "ok, this is the last time we do X" is a whole new hellish flood of emotion. Poor guy is probably really sick of me bear hugging him to cry it out

I would highly suggest adopting Kenji's pasta making methodology. It's more energy efficient, the water is more concentrated with starch making for better sauces, and it is honestly easier. I've never looked back, gas or electric
