My wonderful flight in beautiful "Prinses Amalia", PH-PBA, C-47A Dakota, on 7 June 2024. She dropped paratroopers before the big invasion on D-Day in June 1944 and went on to participate in Operation Market Garden ✈️♥️

Lancaster C-GVRA, also known as "VeRA", is based at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario. She flew to the UK in 2014 and we saw her flying with our Lancaster, "Leader". It was a spectacular sight!

Happy New Year everyone! 2024 was an exciting year for me because Mark and I had the privilege of flying in C-47, D-Day veteran, "Placid Lassie" N74589, with "That's all Brother", N47TB, also a D-Day veteran C-47. It was a dream come true! Here is a photograph of TAB taken from Placid Lassie ✈️❤️📸

C-47, Placid Lassie, N74589. Owned and operated by the Tunison Foundation. Here she is at Caen Carpiquet Apt in June 2019 after she led 15 Dakotas from the US to Europe via the original WW2 Blue Spruce Route to participate in the 75th D-Day Anniversary commemorations ✈️
