for those who also hate webp files, a solution i've found to work is importing it to an image editing software like GIMP, then exporting it as a png or jpeg. in my experience, this has worked every time, but i can't promise that it will.

100% this. I might do a casual test with a friend soon to see if my tinfoil hat theory of Brigs doing less damage is actually true, because that's what it feels like.
