i saw this when i was way too young. for some reason my memory had replaced Sean Connery with Morgan Freeman, and not bc it has Laurence Fishburne. Ed Harris is terrifying. more so than Anton Chigurh

i'm half watching this, vry smeepy after getting back from the WA midsummer ren faire, bc jenny ortega & paul rudd in a dark comedy so of course, but then eyebrows shows up, then Richard e Grant?? really? the gorgeous steel eyed scene chewer? and i look up at a gunshot, only to see noho hank!

looking forward to Alien Earth. i'm hopeful, and have become selective in what i approve. i even found a way to work in the black goo. it doesn't include Romulus, it's a little more nuanced, more scp, but it works. Disney doesn't understand horror. it accidentally 'horrors' very well, but misses it.

this did happen to me, but instead of Amish, it was a POC community where i moved into a studio apartment. it was all i could afford on my own at the time in Connecticut. the people there were very patient with me, while they waited for my family to come get me. eternally grateful. eternally.
