I understand, but language is not a perfect thing. People don't always hear what we really want to convey to them. I'm just saying how it might sound to other people. That's why they might react like that, it's because you're talking about yourself and they're hearing it in relation to themselves.

It's just that when you speak for yourself to others, it can also sound like you're speaking for other people. For many people, having a uterus removed doesn't make a person less of a woman and it can be very offensive to suggest that it is the case. For many, this is a sensitive topic.
