I think forgiveness is possible if democracy and normalcy (whatever that is) are restored, and efforts to restore our faith in their conscience is made, but their treachery should not be forgotten. That said, I doubt those conditions will be met.

Is that not actually a hop, skip, and a jump away from "we provide you with a job. You should be thanking us for the opportunity to work, not getting paid! We don't need to pay you. Why don't we just give you housing. We'll even make it near or on your work site, so it's easier to get to work."

Please do not try to fight all men. That makes as much sense as making statements about all women. If you let hatred of a gender guide your response to oppression, you'll divide your forces fighting this oppression, rather than fighting it together.

Whether you realize it or not, we have the same interests at heart and are fighting the same people in power. I want women to have reproductive rights, medical care, voting rights, equal opportunities and respect in work places (and social settings).

"Great. Thanks." Is a sarcastic opening due to a malicious responce to genuine empathy, which is damaged by those kinds of responses. If you don't want to fight the "men" in power alone, learn to curb such responses.
Not all men are pricks, but even "nice guys" won't help if you respond like that.

I understand you're upset, and that's valid. Although I am a man, I will continue to vote and argue for your rights, even if you respond to my support with skeptical malice and sarcasm.
