For what it's worth: goodnight, everyone. Tomorrow is another day. Another day to cause trouble. Another day to seek hope. Another day to enjoy our friendships. Another day to love, to live, to laugh, and to cry. It's worth existing, I guess. Let's just make a good mark.

Remember - a country is comprised of individuals, not homogeneous groups of "us" and "them." The vast majority need to act in order to overwhelm the trillions of dollars behind industry giants. Saying "my contribution doesn't matter" is false, as a movement needs individuals like yourself to win.

Please take notice to how the "Radical Transparency About Wasteful Spending" executive order only calls for the publication of information about programs/contracts that have already been terminated. It mentions nothing of our bloated military budget or the trillions in tax cuts given to the rich.

I've recently discovered how moronic it is to defend anyone with any kind of wealth. We should all be going after the rich with extreme prejudice - this at least presses them to be on their best behavior. If they want defense, they can hire a fucking lawyer. In short, stop saying "it's his autism."

Remember this: no action is too small. Never turn down an opportunity to work at changing the world around you because "the impact wouldn't be big enough." We need change on an individual level before we can have it on a systemic one.

Cognitive dissonance means that if you make a bad decision, you look for any means possible to make it seem like a good one - that way you don't make yourself feel stupid.
Oooo look at the shiny light
