Yeah I'm not as keen on this. The nod to Dragonair is cool but it doesn't remove any of Dragonite's worst aspects.

A lot of my colleagues have effectively replaced search engines with chatgpt. They don't go to Google and find a relevant stack overflow anymore - instead they ask the text generator questions 🤷♂️ Their code is still bollocks, it's just copy/pasted from a different website now.

I don't agree that it's going to assist Reform at all. That seems like poisoning the well to me. Reform are already polling ahead of Labour because Labour have coveted the anti-immigration vote and burned bridges with their core. If Reform gets in, it's entirely on Labour.

I imagine it was because he wanted to make games with Hollywood budgets and Konami didn't want to bankroll it. If you look at Konami's revenue at the time, you can see they were not in a good state.

Not sure this is a fair assessment. I didn't enjoy the gameplay enough to put up with the unfiltered Kojima-coded story. DS2 seems even more unrefined, so it's an easy avoid for me. MGS3+4+5 felt similar. That said, people don't seem to mind the gameplay and appreciate Kojima's storytelling 🤷♂️

I think these statements are a bit of a rorschach test for populists. What they hear is "other people are dragging you down". As blatantly off-putting as the statement would be to you and I, I genuinely don't think this would hurt the feelings of Reform's target voters.
