Prime time. Low humidity finally so I get out and spray. I’ve been doing a technique called zenithal priming (from zenith) which is step one on easy mode painting. First is all black. Second is a mid tone from just top hemisphere (bone white for warmer tone), then pure white. Creates built in shadow

One mega project I have and will be working on for a while is the repurposing of older models into 30k, aka the ‘past’ of 40k (both # are the year), due to the scale difference that began several years ago. Each pair here is supposed to represent roughly the same thing, which obviously doesn’t match

Week 9 deployment had largest model disparity: 8 models of Chaos knights (3 were nurglings too) vs 141 Orks. Orks lost lol 52-39. Real fun and stupid game but was 6 hours… oof

Currently in the 12th week of escalation league at my LGS. Which has ‘forced’ me to actually complete (paint) models and chose orks to learn on cus if you mess up, its ok, they’re orks.
