Find ways to balance them and have little goals to keep you from tipping that balance. Look retroactively at yourself and truly do what makes you the happiest. It doesn't mean you wont work, i see it more as, finding a way were work isnt actively depriving you from the one thing you care most about

But if I could offer a bit of advice, as someone who went through the same issue, look deeply at all the things you do, and see if you can organize yourself in a way where art takes as much of a priority as your game streams.

Over the time I've followed you, even when I stopped seeing your posts for years, there was one thing that I saw whenever your posts would show up. It was how you wanted to work on your comic. To me, it seemed as if you tried your best to do it, but work always came first, which made a lot of sense.

After a while, I learned that this was the way my subconscious begged me to draw, and over time, I learned to make more time to draw until everything balanced out, and I was able to do whatever else I needed to do without remorse

Even when I have free time, If I pick playing games over drawing, the entire time I have a hard time concentrating on the game because *something* is bothering me even when I can't tell very well what it is.

Don't know if this makes sense, bad english here but I hope this helps. You know how people say to listen to your body? My brain can't concentrate on games when I know there's something else I love dearly and want to do (art)

White is just so tempting 🥺, but sometimes it draws your peripherals to it or ends up drowning the focus point 😭. Red pretty much makes my eyes concentrate on the tree and prepares my brain to find a similar motifs in the next pieces

White is elegant(im a white background sucker), but it doesn't make me focus on anything in particular. Although that might change depending on how it's rendered 🤔 such hard choices!

Woah, they are so beautiful! It's hard to pick, but if you go by context and what you wish to draw attention to... say, the tree in the middle, red immediately draws my eyes to it. The 2nd one to me highlights an earthy vibe, kind of highlighting the "nature" of your project
