It’s warm here - still 34’C at 8pm. Days that we couldn’t get here have resulted in crispy plants (that were safe from the wallabies). Regular watering is seeing some revival & the stay will be extended 💕

Some things didn’t travel well with the move. Daughter’s wedding bouquet didn’t make it but saved the ribbon & pins, bought a paeony and pot added ribbon from the original. Christmas gift wit 💝

A big “oops” from the adult kids who were minding our potted plants whilst we moved. In fairness it was hot the other day and they were in a greenhouse but hopefully they will recover. This one is 12 years old & has survived a few hot summers. Fingers crossed.

Missing my feathered friends from the city. Particularly the Pardalotes & Eastern Spinebills. Can hear & see some magpies in the morning , but so far have only seen swallows, sparrows, starlings and an occasional parrot I haven’t identified yet. Not a lot of trees here either.
