Tonight is the 5th night I am spending at the hospital. I am recuperating from a STEMI plus several small strokes. I survived the widow maker. I’m counting on my followers to keep me up to date on real news. I appreciate humor, pet pictures, obituaries, etc. I will be fine with my friends on Bsky.

I’ve made a choice. Rather than be angry and outraged every morning I wake up under a Trump presidency and administration, I’m going to go about my life living it the best way I know how. This includes being kind and helping others who are not as fortunate.

Politicians making medical decisions and codifying it into law is unconscionable. Life saving exceptions to abortion are being thought of after the fact, after women who could’ve survived died needlessly. While these exceptions do not replace Roe, they help and will save lives.
