This is great news! I'm proud to see the Virginia Senate recognize the privacy, freedom, and dignity that all Virginians deserve by moving these constitutional amendments forward.
Virginia Senate Democrats have made history today by passing amendments to remove Jim Crow-era policies from our constitution and protect essential rights for all Virginians across the Commonwealth. These amendments secure abortion access, voting rights, and marriage equality.
