Personally I couldn’t let a family member actually go hungry. I would show up with VERY basic food items in a bag. She would NOT get cash. I’d tell her this is the best she’s gonna get given that she voted for this to happen. If she doesn’t like it, she can “pull herself up by her bootstraps”.

Like Ancient Rome, we are rotting from within. Greed, corruption, selfishness. Those in power are NEVER satisfied. No amount of money or things is EVER enough. Ever. The rot in this country is palpable.

Well for me, I use YouTube and TikTok to play videos while I’m doing the dishes, folding laundry…etc. I use it as background noise while I’m doing other things. I know that my “screen time”’is high, but not for the reasons many might think.
