Possible but ICE has been a horrible threat for while and it doesn’t sit well with me. Could have been signed and fixed later. It feels like a Chuck Schumer level of reading the tea leaves a bit too late. I appreciate your explanation though.

I respect that but I’m with him on this. It’s about how she makes decisions. She only made it after the political winds blew in that direction. Less about the outcome. She’s looking like another tired politician that many of us are wary of. We don’t need another Angus King. I hope she steps up.

What exactly is misleading in what he said? He stated she delayed signing it and could have signed it sooner. Criticizing an opponent is far from an attack add. Mills has a record to run against with some questionable decisions. Platner will have to answer for his own history. All fair game.

I saw an African immigrant family in the grocery store yesterday in Ellsworth and they looked terrified. No eye contact with anyone, didn’t respond to my greetings and just put their heads down and rushed through to finish. My white privileged self got a kick in the head of reality!

Easier is a coordinated withdrawal of your own money in cash from the banks. Cash reserves aren’t large enough for even a small fraction of the deposits. It would send a strong message and shock to the financial system.

So the litmus test is prior elected government experience? Makes no sense. It’s about representation of the values of constituents.
