A must have rarity, Pryderi & His Pigs! My local record shop has it for £50. Christine Pritchard, Ray Handy, Eilian Wyn and Olwen Rees. A company of actors assembled in 1973 at the suggestion of the Welsh Arts Council to perform the works of Welsh poets and writers. Has anyone heard it?

I haven't been plugging it much but I wrote this:
Pages From a Welsh Cunning Man's Book.
‘... both a worthwhile addition to scholarship and an easy introduction for the newcomer.’
Dr Ronald Hutton.

Search for the title at your favourite online seller or order it at your local bookshop.

In the Vera historia, written c.1200, the wounded Arthur is taken to the Isle of Avallon to be healed. Where is this mysterious island? In Gwynedd!
A youth stabs him with a shaft of elm daubed with adder venom, When Arthur dies and is buried a mist appears and when the mist lifts Arthur has gone.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band released Good Earth in 1974. Every early purchase of the album entitled the owner to rights over 1 square foot of the earth situated at Llanerchyrfa in the County of Brecon.

Iolo's brilliant myth:
Einigan the Giant beheld three pillars of light, having in them all demonstrable sciences that ever were, or ever will be. And he took three rods of the quicken tree, and placed on them the forms and signs of all sciences, so as to be remembered;; and exhibited them.

Coelbren superficially resembles runes but I don't really see any direct influence. Iolo doesn't use any horizontal strokes (perhaps they would split wood easily if cut with the grain.) So the letter for A is A without a horizontal stroke.

Again, not the actual copy in my personal library as my phone is crap and it's very cumbersome to upload pics. My copy doesn't have a DJ. #booksky

My edition of Llyfr Gwyn Rhydderch (The White Book of Rhydderch) has a red cover while my edition of the Brutiau in the Red Book of Hergest has a blue cover! #booksky

(I've used someone else's photo as it's a little too complicated for me to upload my own).
