Currently reading Max Moyer's fantasy called Zodak: The Last Shielder. It's a good fantasy story so far. Familiar enough, but also engaging. I'm excited for the sequel already.

What narrators are directly connected to your association with the author?

Michael Kramer - Brandon Sanderson
Jeff Hays - Matt Dinniman
Ray Porter - Dennis E. Taylor
Steven Pacey - Joe Abercrombie
Tara Sands - Robert Jackson Bennett

They really enhance the experience of listening to the books

Is it common for a retail store to require the following to return/refund a purchase bought on the same day?

- Driver's License
- Phone Number
- Receipt
- A review of the security footage?

I think this type of 'policy' is insulting to its customers. What are they doing with the information?

I'm beginning my audiobook listen on Dragonsteel Prime by Brandon Sanderson. I am intrigued to see the 'half-canon' story. And Michael Kramer's voice is comforting.

Just finished up The Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams. I can totally see how GRR Martin could be inspired by this tale to write The Game of Thrones.

It also feels a lot like Tolkien, as it feels inspired by his work. This old series is the bridge to modern fantasy.

Just finished The City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett.

"The past is a weapon"

The way The City of Stairs explores cultural erasure and revenge through history still sticks with me. Seems like a relevant idea nowadays.

Who should I rank up? I'm having a hard time deciding.

I just went back to TwitterX for a few minutes to see how things are going.

It felt like visiting my childhood neighborhood which has turned into a neglected, violent slum overrun by gangs. So glad to be here on bluesky.

I'm thinking about doing immersive reading for Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson when it comes out next month. Should I read a book that way before attempting such a thing with such an epic book?
