Just to clarify 😅 the stick would be the kind of stick used in a ball game…not just a random stick.
In an older tale, unrelated to the Epic of Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh is said to have been playing a game with an (unidentified) object (possibly a stick or a drum) He lost the object and it fell into the underworld causing Gilgamesh great distress. [1/2] #FolkloreThursday

Perhaps one of the lesser known fairy tales, the story of the Devil and the Three Golden hairs tells of an unlucky boy, born with a caul (born with an unbroken amniotic sac) whose unlikely birth attracts the attention of a cruel king and a unescapable prophecy. #Fairytales
