I think for me a lot of what goes into my image of Murderbot is about the way it acts, and still photos aren't going to capture that. Which is to say I still have hope

Kobo is great. You should know though that bookshop.org doesn't yet support Kobo's readers. Bookshop has said they plan to add it in the future though

correction: 50, not 59, seems like the right amount of rounding

50 gal/ft² works out to be just over 8 feet tall by my math. A more precise number would be 49.83, so 59 seems like the right amount of rounding.

Do you have 11'5" ceilings? How did you get 71 gal/ft²?

I consulted with an ergonomics expert early on in my career and they took one look at my desk and prescribed getting rid of the numpad so I would have to reach past it to get my mouse. That took a long time to get used to, but it helped the pain I was having.

I'm not sure if reading the room would help... many of my peer computer scientists are racing to make programming jobs obsolete too, replaced by AIs. There seems to be something wrong with us

Playing Tunic as an adult feels like what playing Zelda on the NES as a child felt like, confusing manual and all

If it helps, this isn't onomatopoeia. These are literal lyrics from a song that came out in November. John's not emulating anything.
