We've one CI pipeline not working with a hidden dependency on the docker registry. Handily we self-host jitsi for our internal planning meeting and our self-hosted IRC and accumulated bots is also working fine.

There isn't an easy solution. For treasurer@ we recommend a POP box to collect the mail from. For exploders like committee@ the recipients providers need to whitelist the server forwarding the email in.
