I don't think that would be the fix. I think the first thing you should do is make you're native viewer more user friendly, making it a simple two clicks to block someone. Right click the name, block.
Also, block repeat conference chats with the exact same users, or with only 2 users repeatedly.

It's not just "Demand" it's "Supply and Demand." The thing is, the supply is HUGE. there are homes that can absolutely be lived in and yes, it does include vacation and second homes. Pardon my insanity, but I am weird that in my house, you don't get seconds until everyone has eaten. Kinda like that.

Fact Check:

"As of 2022, there were approximately 15.1 million vacant homes in the United States."

"According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 653,104 people experienced homelessness in the United States on a single night in January 2023"

That's a surplus of over 14 Mil.

Having ranted about all this, I'd also like to say I am HOPEFUL that more can be done. My hope is now to try and drag as many new people here as possible in order to encourage LL to maybe change it's mind and update the engine. (5)

You're killing your own platform, and that will ruin it for not just "large amounts of players" but ALL players. People want to keep their inventories and stuff, so we can't advance in a new system. Well, you8're going to lose more than your inventory when SL dies because they refuse to grow. (3)

Ever single person I've ever asked about Second Life who's not currently in it, it's always the same thing "That looks like an ancient game. The physics are pretty bad. Why not just play VRChat?" And that's a damned good question at this point. (3)

Without advancement you're stagnant, and that means you're dead. Catering to the old people necessarily means we WON'T be getting any new blood. So, this attitude is going to Kill Second Life. The elderly are dying. Relying on them isn't a good way to grow. It's a good way to continue shrinking. (2)

So because you're old you're not going to update. That's what I needed to know. Without upgrading the system SL is dead. Good job. That answer just lost you SL. If you're not Birthing, you're aborting. That's how technology works. (1)
