I think a lot of you misunderstand what I mean about this. What I object to is Mother Jones attacking Jon Stewart, because God forbid he said something that upset people. Attacking Jon is a virtue signaling story. The real story should be “How can we better assist immune-compromised people?”

What is the point of attacking an ally like Jon? There are more important things to fight for. If you had just written to Jon privately with your concerns instead of making a big deal out of this, I bet he would have been understanding. This is a nothing burger.
