James smiled at his friend. He just wanted to try and get his mind off the upcoming full moon, even just for a bit.
He smiles, despite everything. James is a good friend. "Well, let's see what they've got, anyway. A little chocolate couldn't hurt."
"Sure. We can always have them pack some food for the morning anyway, you'll probably be very hungry then."

1. Sirius has absolutely cast an Unforgiveable Curse before, and did so at a horrifyingly young age. And he immediately hated himself for it. It was his first sign that he was /nothing/ like the rest of his family. A taste for violence and actual sadism are not the same.

He shook his head. "Not really. Just counting the hours until it's over by now." He flexes and stretches his hands. "But I appreciate the effort. Truly, I do. It's nice to have someone to talk to about it."

He gives his own 'smile', but it is sharp and unpleasant. "Oh, just *peachy*. But I got ahead of homework for the week, so at least I get to turn it in on Friday and not fall behind. So that's nice.
"I know, none of it is fair." He said softly before smiling at his friend. "I'm doing good and you?"
