Got Simba ash box today.
Shadow did check it out and then went and slept right after on one of the cat towers he didn't sleep normally, but Simba did.

I did feel that 4.3 quake over night. Barely woke up, realized some small quake, and then fell right back to sleep.

Thanks all for the kind words these last few days. It's never easy and its been a long time since I lost a family member but life does go on. Simba will forever be missed but I got Shadow here to keep me distracted though he's been looking around, wondering where Simba is at. I'll distract him too.

Watched The Lion King in honor of where my cat Simba name came from with shadow.
Also, never though I hear the ending song "Can you feel the love tonight" in a different context.

There are showers this evening.
It hasn't rained since April here (simba birth month), but the day of his passing, the sky also decides to shed tears.

Here are some more pics of simba. He loved to be on my lap even when I was gaming which including him laying his head down on my arm, and I had to very calmly press the buttons.
Also, his favorite lifelong mouse toy he loved to play with.
