Any mods or cc installed? Just making sure we're eliminating everything. If there are, make a backup of your sims 2 folder in downloads somewhere safe, and try removing your mods/cc to test. Put your folder back after testing if any issues come up due to cc removal.

* Have you tried having the other partner initiate "try for baby" instead?
* Hot tub woohoo can be quicker if you need to keep trying.

The first three really are precious. A lot has changed in the industry since TS1 and TS2 launched. Even during TS2 development a lot changed. Good old days. I stayed up all night waiting for TS2, reading my prima guide, with ex hubby sleeping in bed beside me. I wish we could have those days back.

Happy Simming! I'm not sure I can cope with playing TS1 these days. I have fond memories and still have the discs, but TS2 and TS3 are my babies.
